Terms of service

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers through the online store volt.com.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

2. Contracting Party

The purchase agreement is concluded with:

3. Offers and Contract Formation

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to place an order.

By clicking the β€œBuy Now” button, you submit a binding order for the items contained in your shopping cart. Confirmation of receipt of your order is sent automatically by email immediately after submission and does not yet constitute acceptance of the order.

The contract is only concluded when we expressly confirm your order or ship the goods.

4. Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) unless otherwise stated.

Additional shipping costs may apply and will be clearly displayed during the checkout process before the order is completed.

5. Delivery

Delivery is made to the shipping address provided by the customer within Europe.

Estimated delivery times are non-binding unless expressly agreed otherwise.

6. Payment

The following payment methods may be available in our shop depending on availability:

  • PayPal

  • Klarna

  • Other payment methods displayed during checkout

Payment is charged immediately after the contract is concluded.

7. Right of Withdrawal / Returns

European consumers are entitled to statutory withdrawal rights.

Details regarding withdrawal rights, returns, and refunds can be found in our Return & Refund Policy.

8. Retention of Title

The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

9. Warranty

The statutory warranty rights applicable under European Union consumer protection laws apply (including the statutory minimum 2-year guarantee for goods purchased within the EU).

10. Liability

We are fully liable in cases of intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health.

In cases of slight negligence involving essential contractual obligations, our liability is limited to foreseeable and typical damages arising from the contract.

Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), which you can access at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated or willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence, ensuring that the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the consumer's country of residence remains unaffected.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
